Acoustical Society of America

Exploring Sound

This project was a joint effort between the Acoustical Society of America Activity Kit Committee, the Physics Department and the Audiology and Speech-Language Sciences Department at the University of Northern Colorado and the American Association of Physics Teachers Physics Teacher Resource Agents (AAPT PTRA)

These inquiry lessons have all been tested in the classroom with students and reviewed by experienced middle and high school teachers, middle and high school curriculum experts and physics education researchers.

Lessons are divided into three categories: Lower Elementary, Physical Science and Physics.

In July 2012 we held a workshop for teachers at the American Association of Physics Teachers’ meeting in Philadelphia.  .pdf, .ppt
