Fun and Engaging Labs
Intertia in Action!
Welcome!
Fun and Engaging Labs were developed by Duane Merrell and Wendy Adams. These labs are designed to engage and challenge students to investigate physics. Typically we use everyday materials to avoid any physics black magic. Students are encouraged to investigate the variables in common introductory physics topics at their own pace and with autonomy at some level.
Labs can be found in the pages below. Research supporting the effectiveness of these labs can be found in the presentation and workshop slides.
